For the second phase of the renovation of Chapultepec Park, we re-designed the stalls selling food and souvenirs to visitors. Our client wanted to reduce the many types of kiosk present in the park, which looked disorganised and unappealing. We narrowed it down to four types: hot food, cold food, souvenirs and snacks. We carried out an extensive study of how the vendors used their previous stalls. This allowed us to design new modules which would help them to display their products effectively. By maintaining a unified design concept across all the kiosks we could ensure a more organised feel for visitors to the park.
